Non-theists organize Secular Coalition for Alabama [Left in Alabama Blog]
I was initially surprised that, of all places, Arizona and Alabama were the first two states to have affiliates. Then I thought, where better than here? There are probably more church/state separation issues in the Bible Belt than anywhere else in the country. When I heard that Arizona formed a state affiliate, I wondered if there would ever be a chapter here, and now there is. Here's hoping they flourish and meet with success.
